Q: Are your services remote or in person?

A: At Empowerment Coaching by Elyse, we offer both remote and in-person coaching sessions to accommodate your needs. If you are local to Central NJ, we can arrange for in-person sessions, which are great for building a strong connection. However, we also ensure effective communication and connection through Zoom for remote sessions, ensuring flexibility and accessibility for all clients. Whether you prefer the convenience of virtual meetings or the personal touch of face-to-face interactions, we are here to support your family in thriving together.

What happens in a first coaching session?

Our first session is a real conversation, not a test. We'll talk about what feels hard right now, what you want to change, and what a better day at work would look like. From there, I’ll help you leave with a few clear next steps so you feel grounded, not overwhelmed.

How is coaching different from therapy?

Coaching is forward-focused and practical. We work on strengths, habits, boundaries, communication, and strategies you can use right away in your career and daily life. Therapy is the better fit for mental health treatment or deeper healing work; coaching is here to help you move forward with structure, clarity, and momentum.

Who do you usually coach?

I coach all individuals (teens through adults) who identify as neurodivergent. You do not have to be officially diagnosed. Do I coach other people who are not? Absolutely!

Do I need an official ADHD or autism diagnosis to work with you?

No. You do not need a formal diagnosis to begin coaching with me. If you suspect you’re neurodivergent, identify that way, or simply know that the usual “just work harder” advice is not working, you’re welcome here. We can start with what you’re experiencing now and build practical support from there.

What kinds of challenges do you help neurodivergent professionals with?

I help with the work-life challenges that can quietly wear you down: overwhelm, time management, executive function, communication, boundaries, confidence, transitions, and staying organized without burning out. We’re not trying to force you into a mold. We’re building strategies that fit how your brain actually works.

Are workshops available?

Absolutely! Our dynamic workshops offer peer support and practical learning, empowering you and your family to overcome challenges and achieve fulfilling lives.

Which payment methods are accepted?

We accept payments via credit card, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. All transactions are processed in USD for your convenience.

Do you accept insurance for coaching?

No, coaching is a private-pay service and is not billed through insurance. You can pay using the methods listed on the site, and I’m happy to answer any questions about payment before you book. If you’re looking for insurance-covered mental health treatment, therapy may be the better fit.

What does coaching cost, and how do I know if it’s worth the investment?

I know cost matters. Coaching should feel like a meaningful investment, not one more source of stress. If you’re considering working together, please reach out so we can talk through current options and make sure the fit makes sense for your goals, your budget, and your life.

Can I reschedule if something comes up?

Yes. I know full schedules, family needs, and executive responsibilities do not always cooperate. If you need to reschedule, just reach out as soon as you can and I’ll do my best to find another time that works. Support should feel flexible, not punishing.

How long is each coaching session, and how often do we meet?

That depends on what you need and what feels sustainable. Some clients want steady, regular support, while others prefer a lighter rhythm. In our first conversation, we’ll talk about the pace that makes the most sense for you—because support should help you breathe easier, not add pressure.
